.mse has grown. And continues to do so. For more than three decades. Organically and continuously. That’s why we are where we are today: among the most successful HR service providers in the DACH region. Admittedly, the road there has been lined with one stone or another. And we are grateful for that. Because, as we all know, it’s the difficulties that make you grow. In real life as well as in business.
Where does .mse come from? In 1984 Herbert Baumgartner (29.03.1963-23.12.2004) founded the sole proprietorship “Herbert Baumgartner – Montageunternehmen” in Bludenz. It is not difficult to guess who his first hired worker was: himself. In a short time, word of his model and its positive aspects spread – Baumgartner brought in three of his colleagues. Their main area of work was initially aluminum façade construction.
The company grows The model flourished and was well received by employees and companies alike, so in 1990 Baumgartner founded MLB: Montage – Leasing – Baumgartner GmbH in Bludenz. With this, the business really got rolling and expanded. Due to the constantly increasing number of employees, Baumgartner moved the company headquarters to Liechtenstein and founded MSE (Montage Service Engineering) Industrieservice AG in Schaanwald in 1998.
Setting the course for the future In 2001, owner Baumgartner made an important decision for the future: .mse was given a new residential and business park in Eschen in Liechtenstein. By 2004, the number of employees had already risen to over 1000. Herbert Baumgartner was to live to see the completion of his life’s work, but unfortunately he passed away far too early on December 23, 2004.
In 2006, .mse became part of the Trenkwalder Group and has since been a subsidiary of Trenkwalder Group AG. In 2015, the Trenkwalder branch in Geneva, Switzerland, was integrated into .mse. Both companies, .mse Liechtenstein and .mse Switzerland, are subsidiaries of Trenkwalder International AG. Visible to the outside world through the logo addition “A Trenkwalder Company”.
