You take strategic responsibility for defined commodity groups, including the development and implementation of long-term commodity group strategies.
You manage the worldwide sourcing of raw materials, components, and finished products – preferably electronic components, sheet metal, and plastic parts outside the DACH region.
You independently conduct market, cost, and risk analyses, including TCO evaluations and supplier benchmarks.
You are responsible for the establishment, selection, evaluation, and development of international suppliers (including audits, KPI management, escalation handling).
You skillfully conduct negotiations until the successful conclusion of individual and framework agreements.
You work closely in a network with R&D, Operations, Quality, Logistics, and operational purchasing.
You are responsible for the consistent implementation of cost reduction and optimization programs (Value Engineering, Design-to-Cost).
You take on the professional management and support of strategic purchasing projects.

You have a completed commercial or technical education (HAK, HTL, FH) or a comparable qualification.
You have at least 3 years of solid experience in strategic purchasing.
You possess deep experience in global sourcing, ideally in Asia or Eastern Europe.
Proficient use of ERP systems and very good Excel skills characterize you; e-sourcing tools are an advantage.
You have very good English skills for daily international communication.
Analytical skills, negotiation confidence, and sovereign international communication are among your strengths.

You are willing to travel internationally.
